The ranch is 5 km from the town of Fort Fraser where there is a Post Office, Elementary School (the school bus runs on Telegraph Rd.), churches, gas/convenience store and a local pub.
Fraser Lake, under 20 minutes drive to the west, has a medical clinic, grocery store, several restaurants, a High School, curling rink and hockey rink, bank, pharmacy, and police department.
Vanderhoof, 25 minutes to the east, has a hospital, medical clinic, dentist's office, local newspaper, grocery stores, pharmacy, High School, banks, farm equipment shops and other helpful services.
